Eunha Kim

Eunha Kim

Born and raised in the Bay Area, California, Eunha Kim is a violinist driven by an enthusiasm for collaboration and community. Eunha was the 2024 winner of the NEC Boston Pops Concerto Competition, where she performed Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 2 as soloist with the Boston Pops Orchestra in Symphony Hall. She was winner of the Korean Young Artist Competition, and has graced stages including Carnegie Weill Hall and San Francisco’s Herbst Theater.

An avid chamber musician, Eunha’s Piano Trio was chosen as Juilliard’s Honors Chamber Music Ensemble. In addition to participating in the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center Masterclass with Gilbert Kalish, they performed in halls including Paul Hall and Alice Tully Hall. During her time at NEC, her quartet won the 2021 NEC Honors Chamber Competition and performed a full recital in Jordan Hall. Her festival appearances include the Perlman Music Program Chamber Music Workshop, Écoles d’Art Américaines de Fontainebleau, Heifetz International Institute Chamber Music Seminar, and Kneisel Hall. Eunha has been mentored by Itzhak Perlman, Merry Peckham, Donald Weilerstein, Vivian Weilerstein, Regis Pasquier, Shmuel Ashkenasi, and members of the Juilliard Quartet, Brentano Quartet, and Borromeo Quartet. She has performed alongside world renowned artists such as Vivian Weilerstein, Merry Peckham, and Nicholas Kitchen. As a Teaching Artist for CMS Lincoln Center, Eunha shares her love of chamber music with elementary school students. She also actively performs throughout New York City communities through the Gluck Ensemble Community Engagement Fellowship at Juilliard.

As a Genevieve Hustead and Irene Land Scholarship recipient, Eunha currently pursues a Master of Music at Juilliard studying with Areta Zhulla and Ron Copes. During the 2025-26 season, Eunha was chosen to be Concertmaster in the Juilliard Orchestra, in which she has led performances in spaces like Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall. She received a Bachelor of Music at the New England Conservatory studying with Nicholas Kitchen. Growing up in a musical family, Eunha was trained by her father, violinist Byung Woo Kim. She has the honor of performing on his Georges Chanot, hoping to continue the legacy of his artistry.
